LOCATIONS TO TAKE YOUR SEA-DOO FISH PRO 170

Last month we spoke about why you needed the Sea-Doo Fish Pro 170. This month let's talk about where to take your Fish Pro 170! There’s no better way than to see why it’s known as the “fishermans unfair advantage” than to really put it to the test with these locations.

Lake Eildon

The temperatures may be getting cooler, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get out on the water and do some exploring. If you had to make a list of all the places around the world that were perfect for freshwater fishing, Lake Eildon would undoubtedly be near the top! Located 3 hours away from Melbourne, this inland waterway has over 500km of shoreline. It’s the mecca for PWC fishing and the place to test out the 62cv Fish Finder for that hard to find winter cod, brown trout, golden perch, redfin and carp.

Gippsland Lakes

Pack up the family and your Fish Pro and start heading to Gippsland to see what all the fuss is about. Known as having some of Australia's largest inland waterways, Gippsland Lakes will cater to all your thrill seeking adventures! It’s roughly a 3.5 hour drive from Melbourne and has an abundance of activities for the family to do like hiking and kayaking, or take them on a spin on your Fish Pro; that’s the perk of its three-person capacity!

With the redesigned fishing seat for optimal movement, you'll be able to catch yellowfin bream, black bream or King George whiting with maximum comfort. In Central Gippsland, at Lake Glenmaggie near Heyfield, and Lake Narracan at Moe, you’ll find one of Victoria's best kept secrets for water sports lovers. Flaunting an open space that's perfect for all kinds of water sports, you’ll be able to make Winter memorable for the kids with a fast paced water-ski session.

Lake Hume

Just between the border of Victoria and New South Wales, Lake Hume is a must-visit destination for all Melbourne PWC enthusiasts. It’s located 4 hours away from Melbourne and showcases an abundance of fishing spots on the lake for you to catch the likes of Murray cod and redfin. We recommend starting at Kookaburra Point, where you’ll be right next to NSW waters and can make your way down the lake from the top. Don’t forget, the Fish Pro 170 is designed with an extended rear platform (when you remove the LinQ fishing cooler), so you’ll be able to enjoy a comfortable ride or even a stable bed to fish for longer than ever before!

Be sure to add these locations to your #SeaDooLife bucket list and let us know if we didn’t mention yours! Remember to tag us @melbourne_seadoo and show us your big catch.
